David J. Morrison - Acting Executive Director
David Morrison has been a leader in Pennsylvania governmental, educational and non-profit affairs for more than 40 years. He has served as director of communications for Cheltenham Township; assistant director of publications for Lehigh University; executive assistant to the PA secretary of general services; executive director of the PA society of American Institute of Architects; and as assistant to the president, director of policy and planning, and chief diversity officer (concurrently) for HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. His roles with Historic Harrisburg Association include: Board member 1986 to 1992; Board chair, 1989 to 1992; First executive director, 1992 to 1998; Board member, 2003 to present; Board chair, 2009 to 2013; Acting executive director, 2014 to present.
Matthew Vincent Kenny – Communications Director
Matthew has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the Pennsylvania’s Bloomsburg University with a minor in Ethnic Studies in the United States. Born and raised in the Harrisburg Area, he has been serving as Communications Director since February of 2016. Matthew is honored to work in Historic Midtown, where his great grandfather began his legacy as a butcher at the Broad Street Market. Matthew treasures the history, architecture and ecology of the mid-state, the Susquehanna River, and the stories that all have to share of the dynamic city that is Harrisburg.
Christopher A. Zyroll – Membership Director and Gallery Manager
Christopher is currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Early Elementary Education (Pre K-4) at Harrisburg Area Community College and plans to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. When Christopher is not working at HHA or attending school he can be found behind the membership desk at Sam’s Club or volunteering his time at his church religious education program.
Jeb Stuart – Preservation Advisor
A Harrisburg native, Jeb Stuart’s career has included the early administration of the city’s Architectural Review Board, preparation of numerous National Register Nominations, and participation in Certified Historic Rehabilitation Projects. His background is in historic preservation, real estate leasing and development including the Simon Cameron School Apartments.
Jeb continues his involvement as Chair of Harrisburg City Beautiful 2.0 project, a community improvement initiative, serves as Chair of the Harrisburg Parks Foundation, is Preservation Advisor to the Historic Harrisburg Association, is a member of Historic Harrisburg’s Community Historic Preservation Fund and board member of the Historical Society of Dauphin County.
